Hi, I'm Kendra
Owner & Founder
Hi, I’m Kendra! My journey in the beauty industry began in 2016, working aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, where I trained as an advanced skin specialist. As one of only two in this role within a spa team of over 30, I quickly developed a deep passion for skin health.
Since then, I’ve spent the last eight years in Queenstown, refining my expertise in luxury resort spas, laser clinics, and most recently, diving into the science of corneotherapy and laser tattoo removal. Laser tattoo removal is one of my biggest passions - because let’s be honest, we all have that one tattoo we’ve outgrown!
2025 marks an exciting new chapter - purchasing our first home in Alexandra, getting married (yay!), and most importantly (though don’t tell my husband this!) launching Central Skin Studio. I’ve always believed in creating a space where everyone feels welcome because skin confidence isn’t limited to one gender or age.
Whether it’s skincare, laser, or simply finding a treatment plan that works for you, I’m here to help you feel confident in your skin.
Meet Emma
Senior Therapist & Cosmetic Tattoist
With over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, Emma is passionate about helping clients feel confident in their skin through personalised, results-driven treatments. She has a special interest in advanced skin treatments and enjoys creating tailored treatment plans focused on long-term skin health and glowing, healthy results.
Emma also has a real love for brows - from shaping to defining, she has an incredible eye for detail and loves enhancing each client’s natural features. Alongside this, she specialises in IPL treatments, combining advanced technology with a thoughtful approach to achieve safe and effective long-term skin and hair reduction results.
Outside of the studio, Emma is enjoying the beautiful chapter of motherhood with her young son. She also loves spending time outdoors hunting with her husband - the perfect way to unwind, reset, and recharge.
